Jaime King Career
King was a famously troubled teen supermodel of the 1990s; she was “discovered” at 14, a success at 15 and a heroin user at 16. After well-publicized battles with drugs and alcohol King turned sober and continued her successes in modelling; her male-sounding name, once a novelty, became her calling card. Jaime modelled for magazines like Seventeen, Vogue, Allure and Mademoiselle. She walked the ramp for fashion labels like Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano.
On TV she has served as occasional co-host of the MTV show House of Style and appeared in the short-lived TV series Kitchen Confidential (2005, starring Bradley Cooper) and Gary Unmarried (2008). She has also had several small roles in feature films, including Happy Campers (2001), Blow (2001, starring Johnny Depp), Pearl Harbor (2001, with Ben Affleck) and both Frank Miller’s Sin City (2005) and The Spirit (2008) . In 2010 her next movie with Frank Miller, entitled Sin City 2, is scheduled for release.
